OBC Category Reservation
- Vacancies reserved for OBC candidates are available to those belonging to the "Non-Creamy Layer."
- OBC candidates under the "Creamy Layer" are not eligible for OBC category reservation/relaxation and should select their category as General or General (LD/VI/HI/d&e), as applicable.

OBC Certificate Requirement
- OBC candidates must submit a certificate in the prescribed format by the Government of India.
- The certificate must include the "Non-Creamy Layer" clause and be issued during the period from 01.04.2024 to the date of appointment, if selected.

EWS Category Reservation
- Candidates under the EWS category must produce an ‘Income and Asset Certificate’ issued by a Competent Authority in the prescribed format for the financial year 2023-24, valid for 2024-25, as per DoPT guidelines.
- The certificate must be presented on the day of document verification. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

SC/ST Certificate Requirement
- SC/ST candidates must present a caste certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the Government of India format during document verification.

PwBD Reservation
- Candidates availing reservation under Section 34 of the RPWD Act, 2016, must submit a valid disability certificate issued by a Competent Authority.
- The certificate should be dated on or before the last date of application registration and may be subject to verification or re-verification.

Ineligibility for SBI Clerical Employees
- Candidates currently working in the clerical cadre in SBI or those who resigned from the same are not eligible to apply.

- Candidates with adverse reports regarding character, antecedents, or moral turpitude are not eligible to apply.

Loan Defaults
- Candidates with unresolved defaults under any lending arrangement, including credit card dues, are ineligible for appointment.
- Those who regularize or repay their dues before the issuance of the offer must either update their CIBIL status or provide NOCs from the lender before joining. Failure to comply will result in cancellation of the appointment offer.
